Install
Installing the add-in
Early access (today)
You receive a download link and a licence key by email. Run the installer, open PowerPoint, and Dekvia appears on the ribbon. Your IT can deploy the same package centrally; we provide the deployment notes.
From Microsoft AppSource (soon)
In PowerPoint go to Home › Add-ins, search for Dekvia and click Add. Administrators can deploy it to everyone from the Microsoft 365 admin centre under Integrated apps.
Sign in
Open the Dekvia pane and sign in with your work account. Your library and your licence follow you to any computer.
First steps
Your first slide in two minutes
Open the gallery
Click Templates in the pane and pick a class, say KPIs. Each template shows an example and its capacity.
Insert and edit
Click Insert. The slide appears with example content; the table in the pane holds the rows. Edit a value and watch the slide follow.
Try Fill with AI
Click Fill with AI, describe the slide in one sentence, and accept or edit what comes back.
Apply your theme
Paste the slide into your deck, or apply a theme from the pane. Colours and fonts switch to the theme's roles.
FAQ
The pane shows "Add-in error: isn't set up properly".
On managed company PCs the add-in catalogue must be a network share, not a local folder. Ask your IT to deploy the package centrally, or wait for the AppSource release which needs no catalogue.
Does it work on Mac or in PowerPoint for the web?
Not yet. Both are planned with the AppSource release, which uses the web add-in platform that runs on all three.
Can colleagues without Dekvia edit my slides?
Yes. Slides are native PowerPoint shapes and text. Without the add-in they lose the data table and the automatic re-layout, nothing else.
Fill with AI answered in the wrong language.
Fill with AI follows the language of your request. If the title comes back in another language, rephrase the request in the language you want; this is a known issue we are fixing.
How do I remove the add-in?
Early access: uninstall from Windows Settings › Apps. AppSource: Home › Add-ins › My add-ins › Remove.
